This is the Books and Authors Fantasy Podcast Episode 49 with Michael Chatfield.

Good day and welcome to this episode of the Books and Authors Fantasy Podcast. I’m your host, podcaster and author of Fun Fantasy Reads, Jamie Davis. This podcast is exactly what the title says it is, a show focused on everything in fantasy books.

This show will cover everything to do with fantasy books. From Epic Fantasy, Urban Fantasy, Sword and Sorcery, and everything in between, expect to find the best and brightest authors from all the various corners of the fantasy book world. Plus we’ll add in a few other very special guests as well along the way.

So, let’s start off with my personal update. Things are starting to settle down for the recent release of The Charm Runner, Book 1 of the Broken Throne series. That’s a good thing because I now have to focus on the release of Book 2, Prophecy’s Child in just a few weeks. I’ll be releasing a new book in the series every three weeks until all five books are out.

As always, if you’re interested in more information on what I’m up to, check out my fan group on Facebook, Jamie’s Fun Fantasy Readers and on my website and blog, JamieDavisBooks.com.

Alright, time to get into this week’s episode interview. Today’s episode features author Michael Chatfield. A Brit living in Canada, Michael Chatfield writes character driven books, in the scifi, fantasy, LitRPG and cultivation genres.

At this time he is working on the Ten realms and Death Knight Series. Chatfield draws on his time spent as an Infanteer in the Canadian Military to bring a realism to his stories. While matching it with characters that feel alive and have depth to them that drags you into his stories.
