The Books of Babel with Josiah Bancroft

This is the Books and Authors Fantasy Podcast Episode 62 with Josiah Bancroft.

Good day and welcome to this episode of the Books and Authors Fantasy Podcast. I’m your host, podcaster and author of Fun Fantasy Reads, Jamie Davis. This podcast is exactly what the title says it is, a show focused on everything in fantasy books.

This show will cover everything to do with fantasy books. From Epic Fantasy, Urban Fantasy, Sword and Sorcery, and everything in between, expect to find the best and brightest authors from all the various corners of the fantasy book world. Plus we’ll add in a few other very special guests as well along the way.

Let’s kick off the episode with my update for the week. I’m excited to finish up my book for authors on audiobook production tips and tricks. I hope to get that to my beta readers soon to give me feedback for the inevitable rewrites. That means I’ll be starting on book 8 of my urban fantasy supernatural paramedic series, Extreme Medical Services. If you like that kind of thing, you can get book 1 for free right now.

As always, if you’re interested in more information on what I’m up to, check out my fan group on Facebook, Jamie’s Fun Fantasy Readers and on my website and blog, JamieDavisBooks.com.

Now let’s get into our author interview for this episode. Before settling down to write fantasy novels, Josiah Bancroft was a poet, college instructor, rock musician, and aspiring comic book artist. When he is not writing, he enjoys recording the Crit Faced podcast with his authorial friends, drawing the world of the Tower, and cooking dinner without a recipe. He lives in Philadelphia with his wife, Sharon, their daughter Maddie, and their two rabbits, Mabel and Chaplin.

Here’s my interview with Josiah where we talk about his Books of Babel series.
