Dark Urban Fantasy Stories with D. William “Doug” Landsborough on the Books and Authors Podcast

This is the Books and Authors Fantasy Podcast Episode 150 with Doug Landsborough .

Good day and welcome to this episode of the Books and Authors Fantasy and Sci-Fi Podcast. I’m your host, podcaster and author of Fun Fantasy Reads, Jamie Davis. This podcast is exactly what the title says it is, a show focused on everything in fantasy books.

This show will cover everything to do with fantasy books. From Epic Fantasy, Urban Fantasy, Sword and Sorcery, and everything in between, expect to find the best and brightest authors from all the various corners of the fantasy book world. Plus we’ll add in a few other very special guests as well along the way.

To start off this week’s show, I wanted to fill you in on what I’m up to. I’m about halfway through the first draft in The Paramedic’s Sorceress, book 9 in the Extreme Medical Services series. I’m so excited to work on finishing this one for all of you and will be sharing excerpts in the coming weeks in the Fun Fantasy Readers Facebook Group.

You can check out more information on what I’m up to, including some early looks at excerpts from the new book over in my Fun Fantasy Readers facebook group. I post sneak peeks of upcoming covers, special giveaways, and more, by visiting my fan group on Facebook, Jamie’s Fun Fantasy Readers and over at my website and blog, JamieDavisBooks.com. I look forward to hearing from you.

This week on the show we have D. William Landsborough joining us. Doug is a writer of dark and urban fantasy, with a sprinkling of whatever else crosses his mind at the time. His debut novel, Archangel, is the first in the Shadow’s Advent series, and its sequel, Revelations, released in December 2020.

Doug grew up on fantasy; he read about Drizzt Do’Urden from an early age, devoured the Chronicles of Amber, and consider Sam and Dean Winchester role models… to a certain extent. He loves being a Dungeon Master for Dungeons & Dragons, watches too many horror movies and likes to fit in his freelance writing and editing career when he can.

Here’s my interview with Doug. Check it out.
